Per Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Rockets "have told agents for Francisco Garcia, Carlos Delfino and Aaron Brooks that they will not pickup contract options this month." It's hardly a surprise that they would opt out of keeping fringe players like that trio, as they want to focus their finances on landing a superstar like Dwight Howard or Chris Paul. According to Feigen, the Rockets have a new long-term plan that they intend to share with potential free-agents like Howard and/or Paul.
