The Charlotte Bobcats are in the market for a head coach after Mike Dunlap was fired on Tuesday and one of the first potential candidates to come up was Quin Snyder by ESPN.com's Marc Stein. Snyder is currently in Russia working for CSKA Moscow as an assistant coach.

Others who may get a call, according to The Charlotte Observer, include: Mo Cheeks (Oklahoma City lead assistant), Alvin Gentry (former Phoenix coach), Mike Malone (Golden State lead assistant), Brian Shaw (Indiana lead assistant), Patrick Ewing (former NBA player and former assistant coach) and Nate McMillan (former Seattle and Portland head coach). McMillan reportedly might be the front-runner for the Detroit job.
