Joakim Noah exited Saturday's overtime loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in the third quarter and never returned -- even after Taj Gibson fouled out. Gibson was replaced by seldom-used big man Nazr Mohammed. Predictably, tight-lipped head coach Tom Thibodeau had little to say about the decision afterward.
"He's fine," Thibodeau said. "Coach's decision."
Of course, that leaves us all forced to read between the lines, and it's difficult to not come away wondering whether there is some sort of a rift developing between the coach and Noah. ESPNChicago.com's Nick Friedell opines:
