Pau Gasol appeared to be nearing a return from his torn plantar fascia -- perhaps as soon as Sunday -- but it looks like he may have suffered a setback on Saturday, according to ESPNLosAngeles.com. A Lakers spokesman said that Gasol experienced soreness in his injured right foot Saturday after participating in a workout at the Lakers training facility. He will be examined by a foot specialist on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant is listed as doubtful for Sunday's tilt with the Sacramento Kings due to the sprained ankle that limited him to just 12 minutes of action Friday. To make matters worse, Bryant tweeted Saturday evening that he may be battling the flu on top of the ankle malady.
