Los Angeles Clippers head coach and president of basketball operations Doc Rivers has been in the market for stretch center/power forward and he completed that task on Friday as the team and Spencer Hawes agreed to terms, according to Arash Markazi of ESPNLosAngeles.com. Hawes will make $5,305,000 as part of the agreement and Rivers is hoping to get him via a sign-and-trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers instead of using the Non Taxpayer mid-level exception to add the big man.
