UPDATE: Following up on the condition of D-Will's ankles, he said that he received a third set of cortisone shots in the joints on Thursday and likely will have more injections before the playoffs, according to Mike Mazzeo of ESPNNewYork.com. Clearly, his condition is not getting any better and likely won't until he has offseason surgery. Hopefully, he can make it through the remainder of the season without missing a large stretch of games, but that's far from a certainty.

Per Newsday's Rod Boone, Brooklyn Nets head coach P.J. Carlesimo intends to give Deron Williams some extra rest down the stretch.
"As season winds down, PJ said #Nets will start crafting a plan to get Deron rest so he's good to go for the playoffs," he tweeted Friday.
