Durant's free-throw prowess

As we take a break for All-Star Weekend, Kevin Durant leads the NBA in scoring per game at 29.2 points per game, despite being just sixth in field-goal attempts per game (18.1). Carmelo Anthony (22.1), Kobe Bryant (20.5), Russell Westbrook (18.6), Kyrie Irving (18.5) and LeBron James (18.4) are ahead of him in that category. Part of the reason why Durant remains tops in scoring is because of his velvety-smooth shot that has helped him knock down 51.9 percent of his field-goal attempts. However, another reason is due to his stellar success at the free-throw line.
