ESPN's Marc Stein reports that Cleveland has "strongly emerged as team trying to trump (Brooklyn) and acquire Jordan Hill."
And while Stein believes it could be a two-team race for Hill, there are other teams that are also in the picture.
Dave McMenamin of ESPNLosAngeles.com tweets that Phoenix and Dallas have also inquired about Hill.
The big question is whether either club can come forward with a big enough offer to persuade the Lakers to pass on a deal with the Nets or Cavs.
Don't be surprised if the Suns, which are loaded with draft picks in 2014, become a factor. Adding Hill, who becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, would likely cause Alex Len to fall out of the rotation and probably limit one of the Morris brothers as well, with Suns coach Jeff Hornacek relying on Hill and Miles Plumlee at the five.
UPDATE: All the buzz today is on Brooklyn possibly adding Jordan Hill, but there are several other teams interested in the Los Angeles Lakers big man.
