The Los Angeles Lakers are short on big men due to the loss of Jordan Hill [left hip surgery] for the season and Pau Gasol's plantar fascia, but they have no immediate plans to bring in any cover via free agency, reports Ramona Shelburne of ESPNLosAngeles.com.
