Why Wizards may shop for a PG

Last season Eric Maynor finished out 2012-13 with the Portland Trail Blazers after a trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder in February and he played well as a backup point guard. While a member of the Blazers he averaged a career-high 6.9 points and 4.0 assists over 27 games. His performance in Portland was the reason the Washington Wizards offered him a two-year contract worth $4.12 million. Unfortunately for the Wizards, Maynor is not living up to the contract.
