Lakers apply for Hill injury exception

The Los Angeles Lakers did apply to the NBA office for an injury exception, Jordan Hill is likely out for the season, by Tuesday's deadline and they now will wait to hear if it has been granted. It's worth $1.78 million and even though they will likely never use it, the Lakers made the request just in case something comes up.
