Why Gilbert thinks Cavs can keep Irving

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost LeBron James in July of 2010 when he took his talent to South Beach and that was a major setback for the club. In July of 2014 the team has the ability to lock up starting point guard Kyrie Irving via an extension from his rookie-scale contract and owner Dan Gilbert believes a deal will get done. Gilbert is also confident Irving will only play for the Cavs during his time in the NBA
