The Minnesota Timberwolves have been plagued by injuries the last few years which have derailed their chances to make the playoffs. Unfortunately the bad luck continues heading into the start of training camp as forward Chase Budinger needs surgery to take care of the discomfort and swelling in his left knee. He is out indefinitely. Budinger missed a good portion of last season after he tore the meniscus in the knee and may need to just have the joint cleaned out.
