As someone who throws left, writes right, bowls left, golfs right and plays Pop-A-Shot with whatever hand is hottest at the moment, I understandably have taken a special interest in Tristan Thompson's unprecedented decision to switch shooting hands in the middle of his NBA career.

Though it will take some time to know for sure how well Cleveland's young power forward makes the transition, an early look at his results from the FIBA Americas Championship indicates that it might be a bumpy ride.
