The Phoenix Suns decided to cut their losses on Tuesday as they placed forward Michael Beasley on waivers. Both sides agreed to a buyout that reduces the Suns salary obligation over the next two years from $9 million to $7 million. Beasley will likely go unclaimed and clear waivers on Thursday.
