How Suns fix their shooting woes

One of the biggest reasons for Phoenix's struggles last season was the team's inability to shoot the basketball. Only three teams finished with a worse true shooting percentage (51.2 percent) than that of the Suns, and only two teams fared worse from 3-point range (33.0 percent). That's the bad news.

The good news is they have a new head coach in Jeff Hornacek who knows first-hand what it takes to improve as a shooter in the NBA. While it may take acquiring a couple 3-point specialists in the future to make Phoenix a truly dangerous team from the perimeter, Hornacek has a plan in place to improve the shooting on the team's current roster.
