NBA Teams will have a hard cap for the 2013-14 season if they: 1) exceed the taxpayer midlevel exception amount ($3,183,000) or years (3) when using the non-taxpayer exception to sign a free agent(s); 2) use the bi-annual exception to sign a free agent(s); 3) acquire a player via a sign-and-trade.
