UPDATE: Minnesota is not only reportedly nearing a deal to bring back restricted free agent Nikola Pekovic (per Adrian Wojnarowksi of Yahoo! Sports), the Timberwolves are reportedly also close to pulling off a deal to bring Corey Brewer back to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
ESPN's Marc Stein reports this morning that he's hearing the Wolves are closing in on a three-year deal with Brewer "in the $15 million range." Stein adds in separate tweets that the exact mechanics of how Brewer ultimately ends up with Minnesota are still being ironed out, with Luke Ridnour being dealt back to Oklahoma City being one possibility.
It appears that Minnesota may not be done trying to add wings to its 2013-14 roster. The Timberwolves are reportedly targeting Corey Brewer, a player ESPN Insider Amin Elhassan regards at the No. 33 best free agent this summer, in a possible sign-and-trade with Denver.
