Kevin Seraphin recently accepted his 2014 qualifying offer worth $3.89 million, instead if pursuing a multi-year deal with the Washington Wizards. Before signing the contract, Seraphin had right knee surgery due to an issue that hindered him for a good portion of last season. As a result of the procedure to clean out his knee, Seraphin is going to miss playing for France during the Basketball World Cup, which begins in late August.
