Over the weekend, Arizona State coach Herb Sendek erased any lingering doubts that this would be Jahii Carson's final year with the Sun Devils -- the third-year sophomore will enter the 2014 NBA draft and leave the desert as one of the school's all-time greats. But will the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder be a first-round pick, which he'll need to get a guaranteed contract barring a pre-draft, second-round guarantee arranged with a team.
Ranked No. 34 on Chad Ford's latest Big Board, Carson is very much on the fringe, and that's a tough spot to be. Carson will certainly need to impress during pre-draft workouts in June to cement a spot in the first round, especially in a few areas in particular.
