New GM key to keeping Kyrie Irving

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost LeBron James to the Miami Heat back in 2010, which has devastated the NBA team. This summer is another key time for the Cavs as starting point guard Kyrie Irving is eligible to sign a max extension. Should Irving decline it, the Cavs will have no choice but to trade him. Owner Dan Gilbert is desperate to keep Irving, which is why he's determined to bring in a big name to become the next general manager.
