Rays still shopping?
By Doug Mittler
With spring training just a few weeks away, the Tampa Bay Rays may not be done with their offseason shopping. They may be looking to add another bat or another bullpen arm, writes Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Any position player signed would compete with Shelley Duncan who agreed to a minor league deal last week. The 33-year-old will compete for the last roster spot, where he could spell James Loney at first base or Luke Scott at DH. This is just a guess, but why not kick the tires on free agent Carlos Lee? Lee split last season between the Astros and Marlins.
