Brewers roster moves
By Jason A. Churchill
The Milwaukee Brewers have moved Corey Hart from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL, tweets Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, which pushes his earliest return time to May 30. The word had been that Hart could return as early as mid-May.
The club have decided to purchase the contract of Blake Lalli from Triple-A Nashville. Lalli is a catcher and first baseman who has bounced around from the Cubs to the A's and now Brewers since the start of last season. I wouldn't bet on him staying long-term, as he's 29 years old, has struggled at the plate and doesn't bring much upside.
Hart's return hasn't been moved back much, so if you've stashed him away in a deep fantasy league, nothing has changed. He remains the club's top first base option for June and beyond and could have solid value there. He's also a potential trade candidate this summer if the Brewers aren't in contention. The 31-year-old is set to hit free agency after the season.
