The Miami Marlins finished the 2013 season with 100 losses. They ranked dead last in the National League in runs scored, home runs, batting average and slugging percentage. They had only one pitcher -- Jose Fernandez -- to have more than five wins on the year. Yet, in spite of all of this, Marlins team president David Samson predicts that his team will be a 2014 contender.
