How impressive has Pittsburgh's pitching been so far this season? Consider this: Even though the Pirates have only scored 357 runs this season, tied for 26th with Washington, only six teams have a greater run differential than Pittsburgh (+46). Those teams are St. Louis, Boston, Detroit, Atlanta, Cincinnati and Oakland.
To make it back to the playoffs for the first time since 1992, though, and fend off the Cardinals and Reds in the tough NL Central, this is a Pirates team that could very well have to score more runs. Here are two players they are reportedly targeting on the trade market.
