The two Los Angeles teams have not started the season the way they wanted. The Angels are 11-22 and 9 1/2 games out of first place in the American League West, just a game and a half up on the Houston Astros. The Dodgers are 13-20, 6 1/2 games out and sitting in last place the National League West. It's not all the fault of the skippers and GM's, however, as injuries have hit both clubs. Zack Greinke and Jered Weaver are out, Chad Billingsley will miss the year and Hanley Ranmirez has played just four games and may not be back until mid-June with his latest hamstring injury. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
