This one hurts, Chicago. The White Sox announced Thursday that promising 22-year-old outfielder Avisail Garcia -- acquired last year in the three-team deal involving Jake Peavy and Jose Iglesias -- will miss the remainder of the 2014 season due to a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
Only two days removed from Tuesday's monstrous two-homer, 4-5 day at the plate in Colorado, Garcia is now faced with a lost season. Here's a look at how this injury will affect a White Sox team that many anticipated to be in rebuild mode this season, even before the Garcia injury.
