D-Backs now considering Arroyo?

Earlier this week, ESPN's Jayson Stark wrote about the situation free agent right-hander Bronson Arroyo finds himself in as we enter the final weeks before Spring Training.

"His old team, the Reds, loves him but is ready to move on," Stark explained. "He had strong interest from the Twins earlier in the offseason, but they re-signed Mike Pelfrey instead. And while Arroyo has been linked to a long list of teams at various times -- Orioles, Dodgers, Mariners, Mets, Angels, Phillies, Pirates, etc. -- he's still in limbo, along with a surprising number of other veteran starters."

Another potential suitor, San Francisco, is no longer in the running.

On Friday, though, we learned that Arizona has emerged as a possible landing spot for the veteran.
