The theme of the day varied depending on the club in question, but for the Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Angels it was very much about pitching. The Tigers, who drafted three pitchers Thursday, selected six more Friday including Rice right-hander Austin Kubitza and Georgia Tech righty Buck Farmer. The Angels added two pitchers on Day 1 and six of their seven picks Friday were pitchers, led by fourth-round right-hander Elliot Morris from Pierce College (Wash.).
