Davis sticking as starter for Purdue?
By Joe Kaiser
Jeff Washburn of the Lafayette Journal and Courier reports that Purdue's 6-foot-5 freshman Rapheal Davis will likely stay in the starting lineup for the Boilermakers' game at Nebraska tonight.
"After using redshirt freshman Donnie Hale and sophomore Jacob Lawson at the starting power forward position for most of the first half of the season, Purdue coach Matt Painter went with Davis at that spot against Penn State and likely will start him there tonight," Washburn writes.
Davis scored 10 points and pulled down 5 rebounds in 22 minutes against Penn State on Sunday, helping his case, while Hale and Lawson combined for 4 points and 2 rebounds in 21 minutes.
