Oregon's 3-point improvement
By Joe Kaiser
Oregon's 3-point shooting percentage (33.7) ranks eighth in the Pac-12 and No. 164 in the nation, per KenPom.com. But Adam Jude of The Oregonian points out that the Ducks have been markedly better from distance as of late.
Jude writes: "In the past two games, the Ducks are 13 of 22 (.591) from deep; they were 7 of 11 against Arizona and 6 of 11 against Arizona State."
"We've just been much more selective," UO coach Dana Altman tells the newspaper. "Our guys have done a really good job of trying to go inside-out with the threes. We're taking fewer of them because we've been more selective and improved. I think this is a team that's a good three-point shooting team; we're not a great three-point shooting team. But we've gotta take the right ones."
