Oklahoma's NCAA tournament chances

By Joe Kaiser

Lon Kruger's Oklahoma Sooners (13-4) are off to a 4-1 start to the Big 12 season and coming off a big win over Texas on Monday. But ESPN's resident bracketologist Joe Lunardi believes that the Sooners still have an uphill battle to make the NCAA tournament.

Here's Lunardi with more on what could prevent Kruger's club from dancing this March.

Sell Oklahoma's "tourney stock"
"The Sooners have done a nice job regaining a spot in the top half of the Big 12. Any jump of this magnitude -- S-curve No. 31, Preseason No. 65 -- is worth celebrating. However, it must be noted that Oklahoma has beaten only one likely NCAA-bound team (Oklahoma State) and that the upcoming schedule is a good bit tougher. I believe the Sooners have peaked and that we are more likely to see them in the NIT than the NCAA tournament."
