Spartans the favorites to land Schilling?

Promising big man Gavin Schilling (Chicago, Ill./Findlay College Prep) will announce his college decision today at 2:15 EST today, and Michigan State may be the school to beat.
Dave Telep of ESPN'S Recruiting Nation tweets: "I'm no brain surgeon, but there's 1 team on Gavin Schilling's list that presently has no signees. Doubt Sparty gets shutout."
MSU joins UCLA, Minnesota, and Villanova as Schilling's four finalists, and each school could certainly use the 6-foot-9, 235-pounder with big upside. One thing to keep in mind as far as UCLA goes is the uncertainty surrounding Ben Howland's future at the school. That alone could be enough to consider the Bruins more of a longshot in this four-school race.
