Pro comparison for Wolters
By Matt Giles
One NCAA tournament game that could yield an upset is South Dakota State - Michigan; the Jackrabbits are chock full of bigs capable of scoring from the perimeter, and as we have mentioned recently, the tilt could be a national breakout game for Nate Wolters. During a recent chat with reporters, Michigan coach John Beilein mentioned that assistant Bacari Alexander had contributed a good pro comparison for Wolters' game.
Per Beilein, Wolters is very reminiscent of Mark Price; Wolters is always able to get into the lane, and with his size -- 6-foot-4 -- he is constantly able to make the right pass because he is able to see over defenders.
It will be interesting if one, Scott Nagy's squad is perhaps able to spring the second round upset over Michigan, and two, whether Wolters' prime-time debut will help further boost the senior guard up draft boards.
