Gordon still weighing options
By Matt Giles
The last time we wrote about Aaron Gordon, the 6-foot-8 forward and one of the top players in the 2013 class, he had narrowed his options to Kentucky, Washington, and Arizona. Though is does not appear that Gordon will make his decision in the near future, it is interesting to analyze what the prospect will need to improve upon before he can make that next step into college and, potentially, the professional ranks.
According to ESPN's Paul Biancardi, Gordon has unworldly athleticism that allows him to play, and rebound, way above the rim consistently. Coupled with his energy level -- "It's something I can control every time I step out on the floor, so I try and give my best," says Gordon -- it is no wonder why Gordon is a top level prospect who could easily fit in either Seattle, Tucson, or Lexington.
However, Biancardi does note Gordon needs to work on his perimeter shooting, potentially the one weakness in his offensive repertoire.
