Where Kentucky's tourney chances stand

By Joe Kaiser

Just when it looked like Kentucky might be on the outside looking in as far as the NCAA tournament is concerned, the Wildcats pulled off the big overtime win over Missouri last week. Where does UK stand now? Here's the very latest.

According to the latest bracket update by our own Joe Lunardi, which takes Tuesday's games into account, the Wildcats are now narrowly in the the tournament.

Lunardi lists the Wildcats as the second team among his "last four in, sandwiched in between Temple (ahead of them) and Villanova and Ole Miss (behind them). Of the four regular season games remaining, a in either at Arkansas or against Florida in Lexington would go a long ways towards solidifying another trip to the tournament for John Calipari's young squad.
