Travis Wear's injury status

By Joe Kaiser

UCLA junior Travis Wear missed Sunday's game against USC with an injured right foot, and there's a chance that the Bruins could be without their key big man again this week. If that happens, UCLA will be down to two true bigs in its rotation: Travis' twin brother David Wear and little-used ESPN 100 freshman Tony Parker.

Though the Bruins still managed to knock off the Trojans without Wear and remain in solid position to gain a spot in next month's NCAA tournament, any game they play without Wear puts UCLA at serious risk of losing. When a concussion forced Wear to miss last month's game at Arizona State, the Sun Devils crushed the Bruins in an 18-point route.

Will Wear be ready to play in Wednesday's rematch in Westwood? Here's our own Andy Katz with the latest.

Wear will likely miss the rematch with the Sun Devils
"UCLA coach Ben Howland said Travis Wear is doubtful for Wednesday's game against Arizona State, but he's hopeful that he might be able to play against Arizona on Saturday (9 p.m. ESPN, College Gameday)."
