BYU's newest commit

By Joe Kaiser

BYU reportedly landed a third commitment for the class of 2014 on Tuesday night, and it just so happens that he's the nephew of former BYU great Danny Ainge.

Josh Gershon of Scout.com reports that Jake Toolson (Gilbert, Ariz./Highland High) pledged to the Cougars over offers from in-state school Arizona State, Boston College, UC Davis and Utah State.

Toolson, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound swingman who can knock down the perimeter jumper, joins ESPN 60 shooting guard T.J. Haws and small forward Dalton Nixon in BYU's 2014 class.

Here's more from ESPN's Recruiting Nation on Toolson, and how he can help the Cougars in the years ahead.

2014 SF Jake Toolson
"Toolson is a power wing with a buttery touch from well beyond the arc. His jump shot is pure out to 25-feet and his bal skills are impressive as well. However, the most impressive aspect of his game is his ability to facilitate the offense with aplomb. His high IQ for the game is demonstrated by the number of efficient passes he handed out over the weekend. He'll rebound in traffic and communicates well with his teammates."
