For the first half of the season, Mike Tobey was still getting accustomed to the rigors of Division I frontcourts. He cracked double-digits in just two games (one of those contests coming against Seattle), and he barely left the bench for more than ten minutes a game. However, once ACC action began, coach Tony Bennett began to rely more heavily on 6-foot-11 Tobey, an perhaps underappreciated (on the recruiting trail) big, and Tobey has been on the standouts in conference play.
