Connecticut has always recruited the tri-state area well, landing several top prospects from New York City and the surrounding locales, but in the past two years, the Huskies have been omnipresent in the Big Apple's recruiting scene. With Kevin Ollie as a then assistant, and lead recruiter, UConn landed commitments from both Kentan Facey and Terrance Samuel, both 2013 prospects, and it would appear UConn has dipped into NYC's recruiting pool for another '13 prep.
