Could Carter-Williams be 2013's top pick?

Jason McIntyre of TheBigLead.com made the argument on Tuesday that Syracuse's rangy point guard Michael Carter-Williams could be talented enough to become the top pick in the 2013 NBA draft.

Working in Carter-Williams' favor is the lack of premier, can't-miss players that are expected to be in the draft -- even the highest rated guys like Shabazz Muhammad, Cody Zeller and Nerlens Noel are no sure thing.

But if MCW is to enter the draft as many expect him to do, the likelihood of him being chosen first overall is probably slim. McIntyre points out that the worst teams in the league right now (and thus, the ones most likely to get the top pick) all are set at point guard for years to come.
