UPDATE: Three-star power forward Demetrius Henry will announce his college decision on April 17th, reported Evan Daniels of FoxSports.com. Our Dave Telep wrote earlier this week Henry is the best uncommitted power forward outside the top 100 in the class of 2013. Even though he's down to South Carolina, South Florida, and Miami, Telep said he's still worth pursuing
"If I'm a college coach, though, I'm giving him a call and making him tell me, 'No, thanks.'," said Telep.
Henry has good shooting range, is a solid rebounder, and has reasonable upside if he continues to improve his game down low. He visited South Carolina two weeks ago and by all accounts had a good experience. We have to think Frank Martin's program is the favorite to land him at this point.
