Belmont is an uncommon force on the mid-major level. It's made the NCAA tournament in five of the past seven years, running roughshod through the Atlantic Sun during that time. It jumped up to the Ohio Valley Conference this year, a conference with more history and stability. Now the Bruins are in the OVC championship game, a heavy favorite to win. What's crazy is that their ascendence may not even be over.
