Each week we release the Freshman Tracker -- and each week there are new names and movement. This past week began league play for most of the young kids, and it’ll be interesting to see how these guys fare and whether they hit the dreaded freshman wall sometime later this month. Jabari Parker struggled for the first time and was benched in Duke's loss to Notre Dame on Saturday, but he still retained his No. 1 spot for his overall body of work prior to that game.
One player has returned to the top 10 after a brief hiatus, while another surprise name has cracked the list (hint: it’s the brother of a 2013 first-rounder).
Here is our updated ranking of the 10 best freshmen in college basketball.
6-foot-8, 235 pounds
Parker had his first poor outing as a college player on Saturday, scoring just seven points (2-of-10 shooting) and grabbing four rebounds in the Blue Devils' loss at Notre Dame.
