Leslie may get more time with Jazz
By Nick Borges
Travis Leslie's 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz expires on Tuesday and it sounds like head coach Tyrone Corbin wants the team to offer the guard a second 10-day deal.
"Great worker, good size," Corbin tells The Salt Lake Tribune. "We haven’t gotten a feel for him in a game, whether he is only a ‘2’ or if he can play some ‘3.’ But he’s very good at attacking the rim, and I think he can be a good defender with his body size. He’s showed himself well in practice."
Ultimately the decision will come down to Corbin, general manager Lindsey Hunter and senior vice president of basketball operations Kevin O'Connor.
"We’ll evaluate it," Corbin said. "I like what I’ve seen."
So far Leslie has not received in playing-time from Corbin.
