Could Hill return this season?
By Nick Borges
Jordan Hill was ruled out for the duration of this season after he had left hip surgery on Jan. 23. However, the forward reportedly has been told by his doctor that he might be able to return in late April or early May. Of course the Lakers would have to advance to the second round of the playoffs to hit that time-frame.
Head coach Mike D'Antoni thinks a Hill return this season is very unlikely and he would probably not have a role on the team if it happens.
"Even if he could come back, to get back in shape and make it in the rotation, that would be tough," D'Antoni told the Los Angeles Daily News. "That would be a miracle."
Hill's initial time-line had him out of action until late June.
