What Bulls can expect from ex-Irish DL

By Vince Verhei

In 2011, Aaron Lynch played in 12 games for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, starting six of them, leading the team with 5.5 sacks, and making several freshman All-American teams. He then announced he was transferring to the South Florida Bulls, and thus sat out the 2012 season. That season, obviously, is now over, and Lynch will be back on the field in 2013. ESPN.com Big East blogger Andrea Adelson, though, says there's no guarantee Lynch will be the same player for the Bulls that he was for the Irish:

What to expect from Lynch
"Right now, it is tough to really say how I think he will do this season. He just sat out a year, and the Bulls have a completely new coaching staff. I think we all will have a much better idea of what to expect once spring practice wraps up and we hear from his new coaches. He clearly has talent, and was great his only year at Notre Dame. So the potential is there. It's just too early to say right now what he will do."
