Baylor adds pair of Aussie linemen
By Vince Verhei
Apparently, it was pretty easy for the Baylor Bears to convince an offensive lineman to transfer to their school from Hawaii. All they had to do was offer a scholarship to his younger brother.
Tim Griffin of MySanAntonio.com reports that Blake Muir, who started 12 games at tackle as a redshirt freshman for the Warriors in 2012, has decided to transfer to Baylor after the Bears said they would offer his brother Sean. The Muirs grew up in Australia, playing the sport the Aussies call "gridiron."
"Sean Muir is 6-2 and 280 pounds and could play for the team as soon as the upcoming 2013 season," Griffin writes. The elder Muir is 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, and will be eligible to play in 2014.
