Jennings drops Duffy; Bad for Bucks?
By Nick Borges
Liz Mullen of SportsBusiness Journal reports Brandon Jennings dropped agent Bill Duffy of BDA Sports Management on Saturday and according to CBSSports.com, the Bucks point guard is going to sign with Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management.
In February of 2012 Jennings told Chris Broussard of ESPN The Magazine that he would consider moving to a big market team and some believe the move to New York-based Schwartz is a sign he's hoping to follow through on that in 2013-14.
Jennings will be a restricted free agent in July and the Bucks have said they want to keep the point guard long-term. Of course that could change if some team were to tender Jennings a max offer sheet and it's deemed too expensive for the Bucks.
Jennings could also sign the qualifying offer from the Bucks and become an unrestricted free agent in 2014. At that time he could sign with any team.
