Elijah Daniel could flip a second time
By Brent Sobleski
ESPN 150 defensive end Elijah Daniel (Avon, Ind./Avon) may have a surprise announcement once national signing day is finally here. Daniel, an Ole Miss commit, will visit another SEC school this weekend.
Daniel could decommit twice before finally signing his letter of intent. Daniel was a Clemson commit before giving his pledge to Ole Miss. And he is now set to visit Auburn the weekend before national signing day.
"Daniel is just 10 days removed from making a commitment to Ole Miss, but the revelation that the nation's No. 107 ranked prospect is making a final weekend official visit casts doubt on the strength of that commitment," Josh Helmholdt of Rivals.com wrote. "Daniel and his family are originally from the state of Alabama, but this move speaks more to Daniel being unsure about his Ole Miss commitment. For Auburn, this appears to be a backup move in case one or both of Carl Lawson and Tashawn Bower signs elsewhere next Wednesday. Both are committed to the Tigers, but also considering other schools."
If the Auburn visit goes well, the wavering Daniel could once again flip:

Daniels' decision"(A) source said Daniel is wrestling with his final decision despite the recent commitment to the Rebels. He was previously committed to Clemson, and he was high on Mississippi State before committing to Ole Miss. Daniel was also high on Florida and named the Gators his leader at different points in his recruitment. However, it does not look as though the Gators have space for the top-10 defensive end."
